Looking for some fun games for your iOS device, but don't want to pony up any cash for them? Pangea Software has you covered. They've released all of their iOS games for free, but act fast, because on Friday morning they go back to their usual prices, anywhere from $1 to $4 each.
Pangea Software has been making games for Apple devices for decades, but they jumped on the iOS development bandwagon early on, bringing forth iOS versions of their Mac games like the flying action game Nanosaur 2, the 50s-era sci fi 3D platformer Otto Matic, and the cart racer Cro-Mag Rally. Since then, they've added plenty of iOS originals to the mix.
Recently the company has focused on "freemium" fare that's free to download but unlocked with additional features using In App Purchases. Still, the company's back catalog of games includes a number of fun titles that still cost money to download and play.
The complete list of free games includes:
- Monkey Bongo
- Billy Frontier
- Jive Turkey Shoot
- Cro-Mag Rally
- Warheads
- Enigmo
- Enigmo 2
- Enigmo Deluxe
- Nucleus
- Air Wings
- Air Wings Intergalactic
- Nanosaur 2
- Bugdom 2
- Otto Matic
- Quarters!!
- Antimatter
